Wisteria Von Schofield Wisteria sat on her bed reading The Standard Book Of Spells Grade 2 under the lamplight. She turned and faced the window gazing at the stars. It was a beautiful night. The stars were shining bright, no clouds were to be seen and the Astronomy Tower rose high above the Lake. "Wingardium Leviosa." with a flick of her wand her book was floating in the air. "Well done Wisteria." she congratulated herself as she suddenly dropped the book as the door creaked open. "Who's that?" she asked as she stuck out her wand feeling a bit too dramatic.

Nova Giselle Griffin There was a time when I was alone Nowhere to go and no place to call home My only friend was the man in the moon And even sometimes he would go away, too It was easy for Nova to be up late at night. Sometimes the brain just wouldn't shut up, but more likely, she had a pile of bookwork to do before the next day of classes. It didn't help that she wanted to be involved in everything, except maybe sports. Quidditch was not her game, probably because she could never convince her broomstick to fly straight. She tended to shudder at the thought. She'd just left her room to search for a drink of water when she heard a quiet noise in one of the first year rooms. She chuckled to herself, knowing some poor first year was trying to get an early start at schooling. She'd been the same. She couldn't recall sleeping at all during her first week of school. She moved closer the door, careful to avoid the one floorboard she knew would creak. It wouldn't hurt to listen... Even a first year would be a rival if they ever ended up in the same classroom. The door slid open, much to Nova's surprise. She hadn't even touched it yet. Peering into the room she noticed the floating spell book and the wand pointed straight at her. She'd best disarm the frightened student, although it wouldn't do to use magic against her unless she had to. "Calm down," she said with a laugh, hoping a relaxed attitude would calm the student down. What was her name? Nova knew she'd heard it during the sorting... "Wisteria, right?" she asked, pinpointing the name in her memory. She was unable to hide a bit of a proud smile. "I'm Nova. You don't have to go pointing your wand at other students here, you know."

Wisteria Von Schofield Wisteria raised an eyebrow as a blonde girl entered. "Calm down." the girl laughed and Wisteria was silent. Why was she here? the words echoing in her mind. "Wisteria, right?" she asked. Wisteria responded with a nod and a few words. "Yep that's me. Wisteria Von Schofield. Nice to meet you." It came out louder than she had expected so she blushed violently and covered her mouth with her hands incase she woke anyone up. "I'm Nova. You don't have to go around pointing your wand at other students you know." the pretty 1st Grader replied with a nod and question. "What were you doing around the 1st Year'ers room?"

Ciera Penelope Rosewood Ciera had, not for the first time, fallen asleep in the library nook of Ravenclaw Tower.
Yawning, the girl rubbed her large brown eyes and blinked. "Oh, Cici," she chided herself. "Yeh've got ter stop doin' that!"
Stretching her arms, Cici hugged her blanket, an enchanted fuzzy piece of fabric that showed what constellations were visible, and began to climb up to the third year's dorm.
She paused, her red hair spraying behind her, as she overheard Nova Griffin, who was four years her senior, speaking to one of the firsties. She smirked at the girl, Wisteria, evidently, and her question. Cici coughed.
"Sorry ter interrupt, lassies, but firstie- yer on the lowest o' seven levels o' dorms. Everyone's got ter climb this way ter get ter their rooms."
Cici stuck out a hand. "I don't think we've met, have we, then? Ciera Rosewood, at yer service."
